What's In My Makeup Bag?

Hey Guys!

So I wonder what's in my makeup bag?

I bought my makeup bag from Primark a few months back. I was looking for a makeup bag that resembled the Ted Baker makeup bags as i am in love with that bag but until i get it i thought find something cheaper! This bag, like most of Primark's makeup bags are around £3 which is a bargain to get the job done!
I really like this bag... It's just a bit too small for me!

It has two small compartments to store everything in.. which can get quite annoying as i find it hard to squish it all in. But i think the bow and the quilted detail is really cute. Its perfect for me at the moment as i spend a lot of my time out of the house.

Now down to the good bit! So i only have 9 makeup products in here as the palettes and the powder take up a lot of room but I basically have the essentials for a full face.
I have my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette -£20 Buy here
Sleek contouring and blush palette in Light 373 -£9.99 Buy here
Mac Studio Sculpt foundation in NW20 - £25.00 Buy here
Mac pro longwear concealer in NW20 -£15.50 Buy here
Virgin Vie eye boost - discontinued
Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer in fair 1- £3.99 Buy here
Rimmel stay matte powder in 003 peach glow- £3.99 Buy here
Maybelline eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner 24hr in 01 black - £7.99 Buy here
Rimmel lash accelerator endless in 001 black - £7.99 Buy here

I then have all the essential makeup brushes to complete my everyday makeup.
I have the Real techniques expert face brush which i use to blend and apply my foundation. £8.99 Buy here ( I actually find superdrug to be cheaper than boots for these brushes!)
The real techniques stippling brush which i use to blend in my concealer. £10.99 Buy here
The real techniques kabuki brush i use to contour my cheeks and apply powder to my face. I love these brushes as they are great quality and really soft. £7.84 Buy here
The Body Shop blusher brush which i actually use to contour my nose and highlight my cheek bones and nose as it's thin. Its also really soft and really well made. £12 Buy here
Then finally i have the models own makeup set which contains a powder brush which i use for blush, an angled brush which i use for my eyebrows and eyeliner, a shading brush and a blending brush. These brushes are amazing for only £10. I have definitely got my moneys worth out of them, they are soft and they blend nicely. Buy here

I absolutely adore my virgin vie eye boost. It is the perfect base shadow and it really brings out the green in my hazel eyes. The great thing about this product is that I've had this since i was 15 and I'm 22 now...you only need a tiny amount for both lids as it blends so nicely and smoothly. I really want to try and get a new one as this can't be hygienic to use but I'm pretty sure its discontinued! :(

My Urban Decay naked basics palette is the best £20 I've ever spent. I use this almost every day and i haven't hit pan yet! (touch wood!)
The colours are so pigmented and smooth and they all blend so nicely and create the nicest looks.
There are 6 shadows in this palette and Venus is the only shimmer. It is a gorgeous bright white shadow with silver shimmer. I use either Foxy or W.O.S (walk of shame) on my lid and Naked 2 in my crease. I then use the two darkest shades for depth in my outer V, which are Faint and Crave.

I really have got my moneys worth out of this palette! I thought that £9.99 was quite pricey at first but now that I've tried this and i use it every day i can see it is really worth the money!

The bronzer is perfect to contour! It is really dark and pigmented so you don't need much. The highlight is a lovely gold toned shimmer and it looks really natural on your face... It doesn't look like glitter stuck to you!
The blusher is gorgeous too! It's like a rose gold colour and i love it!

Now to concealer! I think that these concealers are both amazing! The collection 2000 is the best high street concealer and it is a perfect dupe for the MAC Pro Longwear concealer. They are both thick, they don't crease, they last all day and they are both water resistant.
Although the MAC one is better, the collection 2000 one is pretty close and for a fraction of the price! One is £15.50 and the other is £4.19 and usually on offer!

I use the collection 2000 as a highlight for under my eyes or to cover blemishes as it is the closest to my natural skin tone and the MAC one for under my eyes on days where I'm not contouring and highlighting. Sometimes i use these for a light coverage as they blend so well and so evenly across the face. The Mac Pro Longwear swatch is on the right.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Make sure to comment and like if you did!
